New? Let me explain. My approach uses my counseling background to help the Seeker develop deep insights. The tool of astrology is a springboard for the individual to dive deep into their psyche and clearly see what is below the surface. It also allows me to utilize a holistic approach that challenges the individual to ask themselves the questions that psychology could not ask; How am I connected to my lineage? How am I preparing for what is next? What forces are supporting me that I am not aware of? How am I connected to everything around me, right now? What is my true potential in life? What gifts have I been given that sets me up to fulfill my purpose? What type of people will bring me down and what type of people will support my purpose? Lastly, it identifies specific tools that are unique to each person’s journey. This makes your work more directed instead of using a one model fits all approach. What is Vedic Astrology?

Vedic Astrology is based upon the Indian System of Astrology. Like western astrology it uses the 12 zodiacs, 12 houses and 7 planets. There are a few key differences. A sidereal zodiac is used when looking at the houses. Vedic astrology also emphasizes the Moon. They include the 2 eclipses of the moon to their planetary energies called, Rahu and Ketu, totaling 9 planets. Another emphasis on the moon utilizes 28 lunar constellations in addition to the solar constellations of the zodiac. These stars are referred to as Nakshatras. In the readings on this page, we will utilize a lunar and solar calendar.

Why is there an emphasis on the moon?

The moon represents the mind. Without a healthy and functioning mind, one’s quality of life is impaired significantly. The sun represents the higher self. Without spiritual ascent the soul suffers and one’s true purpose in life is impaired. The earth represents the material, the body. Without a healthy body one’s foundation for supporting the mind and soul are impaired and the Seeker will struggle with insight beyond material limits. The calculations and relationship of all three are key the to understanding Vedic astrology and the Seeker. It is a holistic approach to astrology: body, mind and soul.

I have heard that they correspond to Vedic dieties? How can I relate if I do not practice Hinduism?

The deities used in these readings correspond to the lunar stars and the lunar days. Their stories signify energies and embody qualities that we all aspire to hold. They are representative of our potential, the best that can exist in all of us. They can also offer us lessons to warn of our propensity for weaknesses. This type of mythology is also found in our western culture in the story of the gods and they too correspond to the zodiac. Your personal spiritual beliefs are not compromised by understanding these stories or aspiring to integrate their divine qualities into your life. Every and any tool used to improve our humanity is a blessing: psychology, spiritual practice, astrology, love, and of course kindness to everyone.

Why do I pay in advance?

Reading a Chart involves preparation. Once your birth details are provided, a chart is calculated by software. Some of the calculations will be done manually. These two types of calculations are compared and read, depending on the service chosen, this could take minutes to hours. This means that much of the work completed for your reading happens before our time together. This work can not be used for any other client and is specific to you. You will have a 24 hour grace period to reschedule your reading if you have an emergency. Please attempt to schedule at your earliest convenience following this cancellation. I will keep your calculations however I will need to review your chart and become familiar with it’s interpretation once again before meeting with you as we would integrate any recent changes in your life that prevented your appointment, life stress is an important indicator. Therefore the price remains the same. Please note that if you cannot cancel within the 24 hours before the appointment booked, then you will not be eligible for a refund due to the nature of the work already completed.
